Feldkirchen bei Graz, 26.09.2023: Once again this quarter, Eurowings highlights the stations in the Eurowings network which stand out through exceptional performances in passenger and aircraft handling. Safety aspects, punctuality and customer feedback are taken into account among others.
Robert Strigl, Eurowings Base Manager in Graz, is delighted: “It makes me incredibly proud, and underlines on the one hand the outstanding performance by the entire operations team at the location, and on the other hand the fact that Eurowings in Graz is perceived as excellent.”
The Award programme is aimed at stations which are regularly served by at least 20 flights all year round. In total just under 40 European airports were included in the ranking.
With Salzburg and Graz in 1st and 2nd places, two Austrian airports together lead the ranking.
“It was just last May that Graz Airport became a Eurowings base, which brought many new challenges with it”, says Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport. “We have our excellent operations team to thank for the fact that we have already achieved such a top rank in the Eurowings Station Award – they took on the additional new tasks and mastered them supremely with great motivation and zeal.”
Eurowings offers an extensive programme from Graz Airport with direct flights to Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and numerous tourist destinations. This winter, flights will also be offered to the sunshine destinations Hurghada, Las Palmas and Tenerife.
