Baggage and Lost & Found

Baggage rules overview

Before packing your suitcase please keep in mind that various baggage rules apply depending on the airline and booking class. This overview will help you pepare properly for your journey and to avoid additional costs. In the end free baggage allowance depends on the booked ticket class.

  • Scheduled flights

    In economy class free baggage allowance is usually 23 kg, in business class 32 kg.

  • Charter flights

    On charter flights the ticket usually includes 20 to 23 kg free baggage to check-in.

  • Long haul flights

    Please refer to your airline for this information as on long haul flights other regulations apply.

  • Hand luggage

    One piece of hand luggage usually weighs 6-10 kg and has a maximum size of 55x40x23 cm.

  • Pushchair

    Pushchairs can be registered at check-in and delivered at the aircraft stairs.

  • Special baggage

    Special baggage (bicycles, surf boards, diving equipment etc.) has to be registered during the booking process.

Lost & Found: Find help, when your baggage is missing

Your baggage is not on the belt at arrival or it is damaged? Please refer to the Lost & Found counter at Graz Airport or report your missing baggage online with your airline where you can also check the status later with the PIR report number.

Online services baggage irregularities & Contacts airlines

After reporting online or at the counter you will receive a „Property Irregularity Report“ with a file reference such as ,for example, GRZLH12345. Using the reference number and your last name you can then track your baggage directly with your airline.
