The airport has short distances not only for passengers, but also for staff. Graz Airport always tries to provide the best for guests, its staff and nature.
As a major transport hub in Southern Austria the airport connects the local and the international economic and touristic areas.
Knowing that a company is only as strong as its employees the airport offers secure jobs with attractive benefits.
Treating environment and nature with care is a top priority of the corporate strategy and varied measures are taken.
As the oldest commercial airport of Austria Graz has constantly developed since the first take-off in 1914 and will push forward also in the future.
Graz Airport has recognised the signs of time and acts accordingly in various fields, receiving several awards.
In the course of the years passenger volume has been growing and thus a new departure hall was built between 2003 and 2005 while the existing terminal was extended with the arrival area. Today the terminal has a floor space of about 10,160 m2 with 21 check-in counters, 14 gates, 2 cafés, 1 restaurant, 1 viewing terrace, 1 lounge und several conference and service areas.
