The next flight is just around the corner and your passport is missing or expired? The emergency passport service of the information desk at Graz Airport offers last minute help and takes about 30 minutes.

What do I need to get an emergency passport?

The emergency passport is only valid for the duration of the journey and currently costs €112. To get an emergency pass you will have to present certain documents.

  • Birth certificate

    Bring along a copy of your birth certificate.

  • Certificate of citizenship

    An emergeny pass can only be issued for Austrian citizens.

  • Registration of residence (Meldezettel)

    Bring along a copy of your Austrian “Meldezettel”.

  • Official photo ID

    To proof your identity you need an official ID-Card such as a driver’s license.

  • 2 passport photos

    Bring along 2 valid passport photos or use the photo box on-site.

  • Proof of absolute necessity

    Bring along the plane ticket, hotel confirmation or notice of loss or theft.

  • Proof of custody for children

    Parents have to provide an official photo ID and a marriage certificate or proof of custody.

You need an emergency passport? After having made an appointment it can be issued from 05.30 to 19.30 at the airport information desk.
