Feldkirchen bei Graz, 05.12.2023: Graz Airport thrilled at three early Christmas gifts:
With Eurotours and Avanti Air to the Amber Coast
From 13 May to 14 October 2024, the Dash-8 chartered from Avanti Air by Eurotours will fly once a week from Graz to the Polish Baltic coast. The destination airport is Szczecin–Goleniów near the old Hanseatic city of Szczecin. From here the glorious Amber Coast beaches are just as easily accessible from Świnoujście via Misdroy to Kolberg as the traditional seaside resorts Ahlbeck or Heringsdorf on the German side of Usedom.
The offers can be booked at Hofer-Reisen and Ruefa, and as well as various classic holiday packages they also include houseboat trips, cycling holidays and fly drive.
“With the new direct flights to Szczecin, our passengers can access a region that previously could only be reached via a transfer airport,” said Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport, happily.
Thomas Zanolin, CEO of Eurotours: “With our charter flight to Szczecin we want to offer our customers a new, exciting holiday destination. The Baltic Sea region offers not only excellent hotels, but also in particular stunning landscapes and wonderful beaches. Truly a region for top-class enjoyment!”

Turkish Riviera from January
In August SunExpress announced that it would be reincluding Graz in its flight schedule from April with flights to Antalya. The good news now is that the starting date for the flights has been brought forward: the first departures will be on 15 and 26 January, with regular flights to Antalya from 17 February.
“Bringing forward the start of flights to Antalya means we can now offer direct flights to no less than four sunny destinations in the colder months,” Grimus stated. “As well as Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Hurghada, the Turkish Riviera is now a great addition to our tourism portfolio this winter.”
First place in the Eurowings Station Awards
Graz has only been a Eurowings base since the beginning of May, and already took second place in the second-quarter Eurowings Station Awards. The team at Graz Airport have now proved that this excellent performance was no flash in the pan, by achieving first place in the awards for the third quarter from around 40 European airports.
