From today the new P5 car park is operational at Graz Airport, including additional E-charging points.
Feldkirchen bei Graz, 11.12.2024: To offer travellers at Graz Airport even more convenience, a new car park with 133 additional parking spaces has been constructed on the site of the former catering building. Four parking spaces are reserved for people with physical disabilities. The new P5 car park offers the airport’s guests four charging stations with eight AC charging points, which meet the calibration requirements and were produced in cooperation with MOON POWER GmbH.
The QR code displayed on the charging stations enables payment using a conventional credit card, irrespective of the EV charging card provider. Users are billed at the new charging stations on a kWh basis. The administration of the existing charging stations in the P1 car park has also been passed on to MOON POWER.
Simply book in advance and save money
From 1 January 2025, the parking spaces at Graz Airport can also be booked via the APCOA Flow app. This secures the guest’s desired parking space, and payment takes place automatically via the app. The entry and exit barriers open automatically by means of number plate recognition, conveniently saving time because it is no longer necessary to walk to the payment machine or APCOA desk. A major additional bonus: parking via the app is cheaper than paying on the spot!
“The new P5 car park has been constructed on the site of the former catering building, so it is in the immediate proximity of the departure area. This makes it attractive to everyone who is in a hurry, especially when used in combination with the APCOA app,” explains Jürgen Löschnig, Managing Director of Graz Airport. “Airline passengers can also make good use of the new charging stations, as they are billed only for the charge quantity, but not the charging time.”
