From the start of September: More frequent flights to Munich mean more connections worldwide

Feldkirchen bei Graz, 28.06.2023: Munich is one the most important and most popular hubs for passengers from Graz Airport, whether they are travelling for business or pleasure. With rotations almost tripled, the worldwide connections from Munich are now even more convenient to use.

“As the route to Munich has been one of the highest-volume routes for many years, we took particular care when increasing the flights”, explains Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport. “In recent months, due to operational restrictions Lufthansa unfortunately had to greatly reduce its options to Munich. So we are especially pleased that from 4 September, the Munich link will again be available to our passengers up to 3 times a day.”

“I was confident that the short-term withdrawal of the Munich hub options was a “short stop that is entirely normal in air travel”. Due to the good working relationship between our airport management and Lufthansa, and thanks to the transparent interventions, our take-offs for Munich have now been increased once again”, says CEO Wolfgang Malik, Holding Graz. “This connection brings the dynamic Bavarian metropolis closer again to the Styrian provincial capital and its high quality of life, and completes the great choice offered by Graz Airport for international travellers heading for the wider world.”
